1. Get the credentials
In the Meta Events Manager:
- Select your Pixel
- Settings → Conversions API → Generate Access Token (System User)
- Copy the Pixel ID and the access token
2. Fill it in in DataNostro
Dashboard → Platforms → Meta CAPI:
- Pixel ID: numeric
- Access Token: long-lived (System User)
- Test Event Code (optional): for testing without affecting production attribution
3. Test it
Send a test event with the test_event_code filled in. In the Events Manager → Test Events it should appear within 60 seconds with the source Server.
Deduplication
DataNostro automatically generates an event_id and sends it from both the Pixel and CAPI. Meta uses it to recognize that it's the same conversion. Watch the Match Quality Score in the Events Manager — aim for ≥ 7.
