No — we recommend running both. The Mastertag catches on-site behavior, server-side fills in the conversions the browser loses. Awin deduplicates by order reference.
How does the awc click reference work? +
awc is the Awin click checksum from a click through an affiliate link. We store it in a first-party cookie on arrival and attach it to the server-side conversion, so attribution holds even days later.
Do you support multiple Awin regions? +
Yes — EU, UK and US Awin zones. You set the region in the dashboard based on your Awin account.
Do you also send conversion validation status? +
We send the conversion with an order reference and value; Awin handles validation and approval per your settings. We can send refunds and value updates as a Conversion Adjustment.
