sGTM Detector
Free tool · No registration
Find out whether any site uses server-side Google Tag Manager. We check DNS records, CNAME chains, HTML code, and GTM configuration.
Checking DNS records...
What we check
DNS CNAME
We scan 12+ subdomains (sgtm., gtm., track., ss., ...) and look for CNAME records pointing to known sGTM providers.
GTM Container
We detect the GTM container ID (GTM-XXXXXX), the noscript fallback, and server-side configuration in the HTML.
Transport URL
We look for transport_url or server_container_url in the gtag configuration — a key indicator of server-side tracking.
Custom Loader
We check whether the GTM JavaScript is loaded from a first-party domain instead of googletagmanager.com.
Provider
We identify the sGTM provider — DataNostro, Google Cloud Run, AWS, Cloudflare Workers, and others.
Health Check
If we find an sGTM endpoint, we verify its availability via the /healthy endpoint.
